Bolts / Screws

Bolts belong to the family of fasteners and typically consist of three main components — a head, shaft, and chamfer. They are essential for securing materials and components in place, ensuring strength, stability, and precision in various mechanical and structural assemblies.

Bolts are generally used with nuts to hold objects securely. Although bolts and screws share similar characteristics and are often used interchangeably, the key difference lies in their application — bolts pass through pre-drilled holes and are fastened using nuts, whereas screws are designed to directly engage with the material they are fixing.

Nuts

A nut is a type of fastener with a threaded hole, typically used in combination with a mating bolt to hold multiple parts securely together. The connection between a nut and bolt is maintained through thread friction, elastic deformation, and the tensile stress generated in the bolt, which compresses the joined components for a firm and reliable hold.

Washers

A washer is a thin, flat plate—typically disk-shaped, though sometimes square—with a central hole designed to distribute the load of a threaded fastener such as a bolt or nut. Washers play a vital role in ensuring secure and stable assemblies by preventing surface damage and loosening under vibration.

In addition to load distribution, washers can also serve as spacers, locking devices, spring elements (such as Belleville or wave washers), wear pads, or vibration dampeners (such as rubber washers). Typically, the outer diameter (OD) of a washer is about twice the inner diameter (ID), though dimensions can vary depending on the specific application and standard.

Types of Washers

Power Pack Solution manufactures and supplies a comprehensive range of high-quality washers suitable for industrial, structural, and mechanical applications, including:

Plain Washer, Spring Washer, Tooth Washer, Taper Washer, Tab Washer, Star Washer, Bonded Sealing Washer, Lock Washer (External Tooth), Lock Washer (Internal Tooth), Structural Washer F436, Fender Washer, Spring Lock Washer, Square Dock Washer, Spherical Washer, USS Flat Washer, SAE Flat Washer, High Collar Lock Washer, Finishing Washer, Dock Washer, Belleville Washer, Wave Washer.
